Validation
Real prototype. Measured progress.
Alpha has tested its working prototype against reference systems. This is preliminary technical validation, not clinical certification or regulatory approval.
Brain-signal comparison
The preliminary Milan validation used simultaneous recordings with BrainMaster Discovery 24 as the EEG reference. Eight anonymised participants completed an eyes-open / eyes-closed alpha-reactivity protocol. The analysis included BRE alpha-band total resonant mass reactivity and classical FFT normalised band power as an exploratory comparator.
Body-signal comparison
The prototype family was also compared with a Beurer PO 45 pulse oximeter during short physiological acquisitions. These tests explored heart-rate and oxygen-saturation outputs under the tested conditions; they do not establish accuracy in every setting or during unrestricted daily movement.
What the evidence does not establish
The study is small and preliminary. It does not prove sample-by-sample equivalence with clinical EEG, diagnostic effectiveness, or validation of the final industrialised skin-interface configuration. Repeatability, motion robustness, final materials and longer-term wear remain important parts of development.
